THE PROBLEM: Space vehicles have been historically designed to be used once, then discarded. This increases cost and environmental impact.

Since 2022, I've contributed to the Karman Space Programme - a university space programme at Imperial College London - to become the first student team in the world to launch a fully reusable rocket to space.
After working on designing the parachute deployment system, I became Team Leader, managing a multidisciplinary group of 25 engineers, developing space-grade hardware. With my team, I've worked on liquid rocket engines, airframe structures, and high-altitude balloon launches.
