THE PROBLEM: Current medical packaging has two big issues: it is hard to open for people with dexterity issues, and is impossible to recycle.

How people organise medication
OUR SOLUTION: Viapak, a novel way to package prescription medication. It's key features
○ Easy clamshell design and pull-apart tabs: make it comfortable to open, while still keeping the pill in an airtight environment, preserving its shelf-life.
○ Unique cardboard construction: makes it easy to remove the plastic tabs and recycle the cardboard case separately.

OUR PROCESS: We adopted a human-centred design process throughout the project, keeping the end user in mind at each stage. This included conducting mass surveys, interviews, and co-design workshops.
